Unqualified is an international design collective that creates unnecessary installations, unusual experiences, and unexpected interventions in the everyday.
We work in the space between architecture, theatre, and technology, designing immersive experiences to inspire and engage the senses;
We invite audiences to participate directly in creating these experiences together, generating roles and provoking actions that blur line between the spectator and the performer;
We aim to trigger altered relationships between people and place, transforming the expectations and futures of both;
We emphasise the design process over any particular product, using it as a critical terrain for understanding how society structures itself through social and spatial organisation;
and we believe in the power of creative collaboration to foster and sustain healthy minds and healthy communities.
